Three killed after car crash in Kent County

Three people were killed after a two-vehicle crash south of Lowell on Monday.

The three victims were traveling in the same vehicle when it crashed at Alden Nash Avenue SE and 92nd Street.

A 55-year-old identified as Trisca Beasley, of Freeport, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Leah Rutledge, 79, the driver, and Edward Bruce Rutledge, 82, both of Waldron, succumbed to their injuries after they were flown to the hospital.

The vehicle was traveling south on Alden Nash with another vehicle turning in front of it and it continued through the intersection before it was hit by another vehicle.

The driver of another vehicle suffered minor injuries.

Michigan State Police investigated the crash.
