Don’t you dare underestimate the Delhi Auto Expo! It no longer lags behind the 2014 Chicago Auto Show for the Delhi Auto Expo is known to have already unveiled one of the most awaited cars in the local market. One of the much awaited creations of the Japanese carmakers got its first exposure in India. It was in the Delhi Auto Expo that the Toyota Etios Cross was unveiled. This was the first crossover launched by the Japanese automaker in the Indian market.
Now, what makes the Toyota Etios catchy? The design of the Cross is based on the Etios hatchback.
The slight difference lies in the fact that the Cross looks slightly bigger to the eye. But it is nothing but an illusion created out of the plastic moldings used in making the outer body of the car. There is a new bolder front end in this car with skid plates attached both in the front and at the back. In addition to these features the care also possesses new rims, roof rails and a higher suspension.
The interior is equally amazing as one gets to see a steering wheel equipped with auto buttons, airbags for the driver and the passenger, a sound system that can be used with the help of Bluetooth, USB or AUX and safety systems like ABS and EBD. In every way the car is given style with safety.
The Toyota Etios gets its fuel from one diesel engine (68 PS1.4 litre) and two gasoline (80 PS 1.2 litre, 90PS 1.5 litre). However, the price for the car has not yet been announced. It is expected to be revealed by the end of the month of April. Anxious buyers in India who are waiting with bated breath to own one of these Etios have to wait for just a few more days.
