Two dead after car crash in Fresno, California

Two people died after a car crash near Kerman, Fresno, California on Saturday around 8:15 p.m.

According to California Highway Patrol (CHP), the driver of a Chevrolet truck was traveling west on California Avenue at high speed when he lost control and crashed head-on, into a Tahoe going east on California Ave.

Two people identified as 19-year-old Joseph Rodriguez of Kerman, and his passenger, 19-year-old Alissa Campos of Fresno, were pronounced dead.

Occupants of Tahoe were admitted to Community Regional Medical Center for minor injuries.

It is yet to be known that what caused the crash.
