Two people are dead following a multi-vehicle crash Friday afternoon on Route 125 in Lee, New Hampshire.
Police said emergency crews were called to the scene before 2:45 p.m. to Route 125 near the Epping town line, and they discovered three vehicles, two of which were in the road.
Allan Hardy, 36, of North Hampton supposedly veered in the southbound lane and struck a car driven by Jose Olivares, 42, of Manchester. Olivares was declared dead on scene. Hardy was admitted to Portsmouth Regional Medical Center where he died due to his injuries.
Mirelis Murel, 20, of Nashua, who was inside Olivares vehicle, was admitted to Portsmouth Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A third vehicle, driven by Justin Reno, 24, of Manchester was behind Olivares’ vehicle and swerved to prevent the crash but did hit Hardy’s vehicle. He was not injured.
Accident reconstruction team had shut the road closed for about three and a half hours Friday as the investigation into the incident continues.
