Two dead after crash between motorbike and car in Tulsa County

Two people died after a motorcycle crashed into a car in southern Tulsa County on Tuesday.

The crash took place when a motorcycle crashed into the passenger side of a car making a left turn on U.S. Highway 64, just east of Bixby.

Officials say the car was clear of the roadway when it was hit by the motorcycle.

The 24-year-old identified as Tyler David Jackson was driving the motorcycle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

He was not using a helmet.

The 60-year-old identified as Sherri Tomlinson was driving the car. She succumbed to her injuries in hospital.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol was investigated to determine the cause of the crash.
