Two people were killed in a fatal crash between two semi-trucks and a car on early Sunday on Interstate 10 east of Van Horn, West Texas.
Two tractor-trailers were entirely engulfed in flames following the crash on I-10 about 15 miles east of Van Horn, the Culberson County Sheriff’s Office wrote on a Facebook post.
The crash scene temporarily shut the eastbound lanes of I-10 but only the right lane was shut by midday Sunday and there was no traffic backup, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
The identities of the victims are yet to be disclosed.
The crash took place amid a busy Memorial Day holiday travel period.
