Two dead, one injured after car crash in Sheldon, Vermont

Two people are dead and one person was injured after a car crash in Sheldon, Vermont.

Vermont state police say the single-car crash took place just after 1:30 a.m. Friday on Route 105.

A Subaru Forester crossed the center line and went over an embankment, striking several trees.

When first responders attended the scene, they saw a 22-year-old identified as Bethanie Therrien, and a 21-year-old identified as Colby Reynolds, 21.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

They also found another passenger who was sent to the hospital in critical condition.
