Two killed after car crash in King George County

Two people were killed after a single-vehicle crash in King George County, Virginia.

The crash took place when a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado was heading south on Bloomsbury Road near Birchwood Creek Road and it ran off the right side of the road, before hitting several trees.

A 27-year-old identified as Michael Ambrose of Woodford and Amber Arbogast of King George, were both pronounced dead at the scene.

Another person in the car was admitted to VCU Medical Center with serious injuries.

Virginia State Police is investigating the crash and figuring out what caused it.
