Two killed after vehicle crash in Lawrence County, Ohio

Two people were killed after a car crash on State Route 7 in Lawrence County, Ohio on Thursday morning.

The crash took place around 5:50 a.m. when a pickup truck went left of center hitting a semi-truck, troopers say.

Both drivers were killed in the crash.

A 24-year-old identified as Nathan Colburn, of Crown City, was driving the pick-up truck northbound and the driver of the southbound semi-truck, identified as David Lambert, 49, also of Crown City, tried to take evasive action to avoid the crash.

Both vehicles ended off the west side of Route 7.

Both were not using seatbelts.

Ohio State Highway Patrol investigated the crash.
