Two people are dead and another person is in serious condition after a car crashed into The Ave Barber Shop on Chelan Avenue in Wenatchee, Washington on Thursday evening.
Identities on the fatalities are not yet being provided but Wenatchee Police Capt. Edgar Reinfeld said the driver was not among those killed.
A third person was thought to have died but was revived at Central Washington Hospital before being airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Reinfeld said.
The vehicle, which was reportedly being driven problematically right before the accident, went entirely inside the barber shop, he said.
“We have no idea about cause, Reinfeld said. “There’s no overt sign of intoxication.”
There were others injured in the crash, which took place about 6:30 p.m., but the number of injured and the severity of their injuries is unknown as of yet, Reinfeld said.
