Two killed after car crashes into transit bus in Maryland

Two people were killed after their car hit a Maryland Transit Administration bus in Pikesville, Baltimore County, Maryland.

Officials said a 2017 Nissan Altima traveling eastbound on Thursday on Old Court Road struck into a stopped MTA bus.

The driver of the Nissan, a 51-year-old identified as Komonti Wilmer, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His passenger, Mendy Wimbrey, 48, succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.

The bus driver was hospitalized with minor injuries.

Baltimore Police was investigating the crash for knowing further details.
