Two killed in crash after their vehicle hits tree in Riverwest, Wisconsin

Two men died due to injuries they suffered in a single-vehicle crash in Milwaukee’s Riverwest neighborhood in Wisconsin on Friday night.

The police officer saw a vehicle driving recklessly and at excessive speeds which crashed into a tree in the 500 block of East Burleigh Street. 

The crash took place around 11:30 p.m. on Friday.

Police said on early Saturday said the occupants of the vehicle had life-threatening injuries.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office said on Saturday morning that two men died due to the injuries from the crash.
