Two people killed after car crash in Tinton Falls

Two people died after a two-car crash on Asbury Avenue, Tinton Falls, New Jersey on Saturday night. 

The crash took place when the Toyota Corolla was hit by a GMC Canyon

A 40-year-old man from Baltimore and a 35-year-old woman were pronounced dead at the scene.

Their identities were not released.

The driver of the GMC Canyon, a 33-year-old Toms River was admitted to Jersey Shore University Medical Center for treatment.

The crash is being investigated by Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.
