The recently released Chevrolet Captiva LTZ is the new range-topper in the UK’s SUV market. Borrowing a name which is frequently used in the US, the vehicle is powered by a 2-liter diesel engine which can generate a whopping 150 HP. This is paired with either a five-speed automatic or manual transmission. The Captiva LTZ can seat seven people, and was given 18” alloys and a catchy, unique set of rear-light clusters.
According to press release, the vehicle comes at a price tag between £27,305 and £28,630. Staples include a full-leather trim for the interior, heated front seats, cruise control, parking sensors, electronic climate control, and an electrically-adjustable driver’s seat. It also has an automatic headlight control, side mirrors which fold electrically, and rain sensor wipers.
One of the best additions to the vehicle is probably its reversing camera standard. The camera delivers data to a 7-inch satellite navigation display screen. The system can also be controlled through this unit.
Safety features for the car include traction control, side and front airbags, roof curtain airbags, ABS and ESC.
