by Alex

That Audi is working on and going to launch its smaller sports car named the R4 is no secret anymore. The design of this car has been influenced by the e-Tron concept which has been made public at the Detroit Auto Show held this year.  Details of the car that were unknown to date are the fact that it is going to be slotted below the TT and this is from Audi CEO Rupert Stadler.

The car would be made available with the options of a 1.4 liter TSI petrol engine. This engine would have the rating of 180 hp and is also installed on the Golf GT. The other option for the R4 is a 2.0 liter TDI engine of rating 170 hp. The R4 would compete with the Mazda MX-5 Roadster and would debut in 2013 as per expectations.
