The Vauxhall Astra GTC 2012 comes in both diesel and gasoline versions. There are two gasoline models: a 1.4-liter Turbo that produces 140PS and 200Nm. This car accelerates from 0 to 60 in 9 seconds. The engine has a water-cooled turbocharger.

The 1.6-litre Turbo produces 180PS and accelerates from 0 to 60 in 7.8 seconds (which is amazing for a car in its class). It has a fuel consumption of more than 30mpg.

This vehicle system has a Start/Stop technology which turns of the engine when the car reaches standstill with the transmission in neutral, and automatically starts when the clutch is pressed. This feature can be activated and deactivated by the driver by using a button on the instrument panel.

The exterior design is made to underline the cars sporty behavior with an aerodynamic coupe look. The inside continues in the same manner: the ergonomic sports seats arranged in a 2×3 configuration are heatead. They also feature lumbar and leg support. The seats come in two versions: lether or cloth. The infotainment system is mobile-phone compatible by using a Bluetooth connection, or the option to recharge the phone directly from the car. The infinity Sound System is also available. It uses a 7x45W configuration to direct the sound to 8 premium speakers. The cost price will be of around $30,000.
