50th Anniversary Shelby GT500 SuperSnake

by Site Default

Shelby released their 50th Anniversary Shelby GT500 SuperSnake, 50th GT350 and 50th GTS. The GT500 comes with the same amazing power of 750 horsepower that comes from a 5.0L supercharged V6, that can be configured to output as much as 800 horsepower.

The 50th anniversary Mustang-based GT500 SuperSnake gets badges stitched pretty much everywhere on the inside (seat backs, floor mats, etc.). On the outside the 6 piston front breaks are new. Also, there are extra carbon fiber spoilers, and gold striping, to celebrate the golden anniversary (according to Shelby officials).

As far as performance is concerned, there won’t be any major changes compared to the previous model (although the new engine is .4-liters smaller). The fuel consumption will be at the most as big as in the previous models, so 15mpg in the city, and 23 mpg on the highway.

This car is a limited edition vehicle, and will be produce in only 299 units. It’s a known fact that Shelby produces some of the best muscle cars on the market, and they just keep getting better and better at it. If you want to have this extremely rare, powerful and beautiful vehicle, you should hurry up. The cost price starts at $60,000.
