Video: Enhancements for the 2011 Corvette Z06

by Ron Grant

The Corvette Z06 has been practically sandwiched between the ZR1 high performance car and the better than the standard Grand Sport. Practically the Z06 remained unchanged since its unveiling back in 2006 with only some updates. The good news is that we can expect some new stuff for the Z06 model year 2011.

The engineers of Corvette listened to the inputs of owners to enhance the looks of the car but maintain its excellent performance. The upcoming Corvette Z06 will feature new Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar Gen II tires, upgraded exhaust system, and the performance package of the Z07 that will sport the carbon ceramic Brembo brakes and the CFZ Carbon Fiber kit to improve its looks.

Below we have a video out of the C5/C6 Bash at the Corvette Museum where the chief engineer of the brand talks about the updates we can expect.
