Prior to this year’s Shanghai Auto Show event, the German automaker, Volkswagen, has taken the liberty of taking the veil off its latest Scirocco GTS facelift. Speaking of the VW Scirocco GTS, if you remember correctly, the vehicle was introduced over a year ago. As such, it is about time the car gets a mid-cycle refresh.
The facelifted variant of the 2015 VW Scirocco GTS comes with black caps for its side mirrors, for a start. In addition, the car also has red brake calipers and buyers will get to choose whether to install 18-inch Norwich or 19-inch Lugano alloy wheels. For customers that do not mind churning extra cash, they may want to consider installing the R-Line kit. This exterior kit will give the car a rear diffuser, a roof spoiler, custom sill extensions on the sides of the vehicle and also R-styled front and rear bumpers.
Inside the cabin of the vehicle, keen buyers will be able to expect a host of luxury amenities. These include a sports steering wheel that benefits from a black piano lacquer, red seams and also the typical GTS badge on the lower spoke of the wheel. In addition, the interior has also been equipped with a black headliner, a chrome trim kit, golf ball gear knob, stainless steel pedals and the company’s onboard Composition Color vehicle infotainment system, among other things.
Yet, if all those are not enough, customers willing to spend a little more amount of money will find their car equipped with a tilting panoramic sunroof, a newly designed multi-function steering wheel, bi-xenon headlamps and also black Vienna leather upholstery.
As revealed by the German automaker, the 2015 Volkswagen Scirocco GTS model will be available in a number of exterior color choices. These choices consist of Deep Black, Indium Gray, Urano Gray, Oryx White, Pure White and Flash Red.
