Pirelli and Heico Sportiv have recently revealed a specially tuned version of the Volvo V40 to mark the celebration of Pirelli’s jubilee.
They have used as foundation a V40 T3 model fitted with a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine. This helps to increase the output from the existing 150 HP (110 kW) to 200 HP (147 kW) and the torque has also increased from 240 Nm (177 lb-ft) to 300 Nm (221 lb-ft).
As a result of increase in power, the model is now able to accelerate to 0-62 mph (0-100 kmph) in 7.9 seconds which is faster by 0.9 seconds as compared to the stock model. The top speed has also increased to 143 mph (230 kmph) against 130 mph (210 kmph) earlier.
The tuned Volvo V40 Pirelli by Heico Sportiv rides on 8×19 VOLUTION VII wheels wrapped in 235/35 R19 P Zeros. Some of the other modifications consist of a 30 mm lowered suspension and a custom body kit with a bi-part front spoiler and a diffuser-look rear skirt. In terms of interiors, the black and red theme in the exterior is continued inside the cabin as well along with velour floor mats with embossed tire-tread profiles.
Heico Sportiv said that this special package can be ordered with other engines as well offered by Volvo.
