Jeep has launched a limited Alpine Edition of the 2013 Grand Cherokee SRT8 in South Africa.

Based on the previous version, the Alpine Edition has been painted with a White paint and a Black Vapor Chrome finish for the 20-inch, 5-spoke alloys.
Moreover, there are various modified glossy black appointments like the hood badge, front grille surrounds and inserts, door badge, rear light bar and step pad, along with rear liftgate SRT8 badge accent.

Motivation comes from the same HEMI V8 6.4-liter engine producing 462 hp (344 kW) and 624 Nm (460 lb-ft) of torque.
It takes five seconds to wrap up the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) journey at a top speed of 160 mph (257 km/h).

The vehicle is a already on sale across South Africa and this particular edition is restricted to only 95 units and costs R864,990.

Detailed specifications, and performance related matters are yet unknown but are likely to be released soon.

Stay tuned and enjoy the pictures for a while.
