A car crash resulted in the lives of two and injured two others on Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Northern and Orman avenues in Pueblo, Colorado.
According to the Pueblo Police Department, when officers attended the scene at approximately 4:30 p.m. they discovered one person dead on the scene and three individuals who sustained serious injuries.
One of those people seriously injured died afterward at a hospital in Pueblo.
The two who died have been identified as Rachael Gallegos, 41, and Frank Chavez, 54, both of Pueblo.
Gallegos died on scene while Chavez died later at a regional hospital.
Police said that a woman in an SUV was traveling northbound on Orman Avenue when she ran a red light on Northern Avenue and struck two motorcycles.
Each motorcycle was having a driver and a passenger.
Police believe that 21-year-old Alisha Herrera was the driver of the SUV. Police said she was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the vehicle crash.
Herrera has been arrested and is charged with one count of vehicular homicide and three counts of vehicular assault.
