2 killed, 3 injured after car crash on Saw Mill River Parkway, New York

Two people were killed and three were injured following a car crash in the northbound lanes of the Saw Mill River Parkway on Sunday.

It was around 2 p.m. when a driver heading southbound lost control of their vehicle and struck through an opening in the concrete divider – before crashing with another vehicle traveling northbound.

Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.

Two passengers in the northbound vehicle were injured.

The driver of a third vehicle got injured after a second crash took place following the initial accident.
