Two killed after single-car crash at north of Bogalusa

Two people died following a single-vehicle crash that took place just after 3 a.m. on Sunday morning on Louisiana Highway 21, north of Bogalusa.

The victims have been identified as 32-year-old Mallory Odom of Bogalusa and 31-year-old Kassi Creel of Franklinton.

The crash took place when Odom was driving her 2017 Nissan Rogue was southbound when the vehicle crossed the centerline and departed the roadway and then hit a concrete culvert.

Odom and her passenger, Creel, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Louisiana State Police is investigating the crash.
