Two killed after two-vehicle crash in Tazewell County

Two people are dead and six are injured following a two-vehicle crash near Tremont in Tazewell County on Saturday afternoon.

The crash took place when a UTV and truck crashed at Townline Road and Locust Road.

Two people in the UTV died as a result of the crash.

Five people in the UTV and the driver of the truck were admitted to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

The Tazewell County Coroner’s Office is investigating the crash and is yet to release the identities of the victims.
