It was only recently that Audi has confirmed its new RS5 coupe will start plying in the U.S. soon. But before that could happen, the tuning specialists at MTM, the renowned tuning firm based in Germany have done their job and is the first tuner to announce the release of its program for the car.

However, MTM is not yet revealing what they have done with the RS5 coupe’s 4.2-liter V8 engine that can churn out an impressive 450 hp @ 8,250 rpm in its standard form. A maximum of 430 Nm which is equivalent to 317.15 lb-ft of torque is produced by the V8 engine at speeds between 4,000 and 6,000 rpm. The sports car weighs over 1,725 kg and comes equipped with a seven speed S-Tronic transmission. The RS5 is able to do the 0 km/h to 100 km/h sprint in 4.6 seconds. The registered maximum speed of the car is 250 km/h or 155.34 mph and is electronically limited in the sport coupe. However, what MTM have done is that they have worked with the software for the factory speed limiter so that the electronically controlled limit is removed and the var is able to reach top speeds of top speed of 303km/h or 188mph, though it will set one back by €1,499 spend. A new exhaust system, costing about €2,999, can be obtained from the tuning company. Similarly, a new set of wheels can be obtained from MTM ranging from €2,250 to €7,638. The tuner is also working on some suspension tweaks to be released only in the near future!
