Nissan has made public the European version of the Note which will be debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in March.

After Nissan came up with the JDM version of the new Note last year, it is the turn of its European brother to get noticed. Looking similar to a hatchback, the 2013 Note still looks like a downsized MPV and wants to fight against its current rivals with a vengeance.

The latest version will have a 1.2-liter gasoline engine producing 80 HP (59 kW) and 110 Nm (81 lb-ft), allowing the Note to
have a combined fuel economy of 4.7 liters / 100 km (60 mpg UK or 50 mpg US) with CO2 emissions of 109 g/km.

There is also an option to offer a 1.2-liter DIG-S engine with 98 HP (72 kW) and 142 Nm (105 lb-ft) of torque, which allows the vehicle to have a fuel consumption of 4.3 liters / 100 km (65.7 mpg UK or 54.7 mpg US) and CO2 emissions of 99 g/km.

Finally the Nissan Note can also have a 1.5-liter turbodiesel generating 90 HP (66 kW) and 219 Nm (162 lb-ft) of torque. The Note has a fuel consumption of 3.6 liters / 100 km (78.4 mpg UK or 65.3 mpg US) along with CO2 emissions of 95 g/km.

We have so far managed to gather information about the engine whereas other details are still yet to be known so let us wait till the Geneva show.
