The 2014 MINI Cooper has been spied yet again before the official launch which is expected to happen in coming months.
Though the brand may be “Mini”, but the company is now making models which are longer and wider than the outgoing version. It will come with features such as a longer bonnet, slimmer A-pillars and a smaller front grille on the exteriors and in the interiors, center-mounted speedometer will be removed in favor of a traditional instrument cluster.
The base models will come fitted with three-cylinder TwinPower engines, while the hotter Cooper S and JCW models are set to come with a 1.6-liter turbo gasoline engine. The latter will reportedly generate power of 178 hp (132 kW) in the Cooper S and 217 hp (162 kW) in the range-topping JCW variant.
The car could be unveiled in the Frankfurt Motor Show in September this year.
