Nissan has introduced the 2014 Versa Note which will be available for sale from June this year.
It would carry a price tag of 13,990 USD (without destination & handling fees).
Better than the sedan in the looks department, the hatchback is powered by a 1.6-liter engine producing 109 hp (81 kW) at 6,000 rpm and a peak torque of 107 lb-ft (145 Nm) at 4,400 rpm. The power unit can be connected to a 5-speed manual gearbox or a new Xtronic CVT. Nissan opines that the Versa Note can return 31 mpg city / 40 mpg highway / 35 mpg combined.
Having a wheelbase of 102.4 inches, the 2014 Nissan Versa Note has an interior volume of 115.5 cubic feet and provides a cargo space of 21.4 cubic feet. A large flat cargo area can be created after folding down the 60/40-split rear seat.
It will be available in four trim levels: S, S Plus, SV and SL, and is likely to be equipped with the company’s Around View Monitor and the NissanConnectSM with Navigation System. The Around Vies Monitor has four small wide-angle cameras installed on the front, rear and side to offer a 360-degree view of what’s around the car. Optionally available is also a 5.8-inch touchscreen display.
That’s all we have for now, more detailed information would be on display when the car goes on sale.
Till then do not forget to savor the pictures.
