2014 Peugeot 5008 facelift uncovered

Peugeot has recently announced its plans to show the facelifted 5008 at IAA in Frankfurt in Germany to be held in the coming month.

The facelifted 5008 will feature the company’s latest front fascia design with a floating grille between the two headlights, chrome detailing on the sides and new choices of alloy wheels in sizes ranging from 16 to 18 inches, including 17-inch diamond Anthra Grey. The rear of the car has remained almost unchanged with those taillights which send out a C6 vibe.

In terms of interiors, the changes are limited and can be optionally configured with two seven-inch color screens installed in the head restraints and come bundled with two Bluetooth headphones and a connection console providing support for various audio and video equipment. Other features include a head-up display showing in color important info like speed, cruise control and other data in the center of the driver’s field of vision.

Engine lineup consists of four gasoline and four diesels available with manual, automatic or ETG transmissions. Gasoline engines range from a 1.6-liter VTi delivering 120 hp (89 kW) to 1.6-liter THP rated at 163 hp (121 kW), while diesels starts from 115 hp (85 kW) from the 1.6-liter e-HDi FAP and top out at 163 hp (121 kW) from a 2.0-liter HDi FAP.
