Three people were killed and two others were injured after a car crash on State Road 836 in Northwest Miami-Dade, Florida on Saturday.
The crash took place when a Lexus sedan was traveling westbound in the area of Northwest 107th Avenue and it struck an SUV, at around 11:20 p.m.
Officials said the Lexus lost control before it struck the median guardrail and the sedan then drove through the guardrail and struck a tree in the center grassy area.
Two women were pronounced dead at the scene.
A third woman succumbed to her injuries at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital.
Two men were admitted to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital. Their condition is critical.
Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash and is yet to determine what caused it.
