Three people were killed and five others were injured after a three-car crash on Stadium Rd and El Colegio Rd in Isla Vista, California.
It was at 6:21 p.m. when County Fire spokesperson Daniel Bertucelli said about eight people involved in the crash. About three were pronounced dead at the scene, two seriously injured, and three had non-life-threatening injuries.
California Highway Patrol figured out the incident around 5:30 p.m., and said there were three cars involved in the crash.
The crash took place when one car ran a red light, and another car hit a tree.
California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
