62.990 dollars for the 2011 Cadillac CTS-V Sport wagon

by Adrian Hayden

Cadillac just announced today that the 2011 CTS-V Sport Wagon will cost just under 63.000 dollars. The cat is said to reach dealerships sometime this year. The engine that will equip this car is a massive 6.2 liter V8 with 556 horses and 551 lb-ft torque. The transmission is a manual 6-speed with rear wheel drive.

Having all that power, the car will be able to reach 60 mph in only 4 seconds. But that much power needs to be stopped in some way and that’s why the car has Brembo brakes and Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires. To ensure ride comfort the car has Magnetic Ride Control and 19 inch wheels.

The car also has a wide range of luxurious, practical devices: heated, leather seats, in-dash sat-nav with a 40 GB HDD, Xenon headlamps and a Bose 5.1 surround stereo system. Optional, the manufacturer offers Recaro racing seats for the driver and the front passenger seat, 19 inch polished aluminium seats and Suede steering wheel and shifter.
