Aston Martin Vanquish Volante to debut at Pebble Beach

Aston Martin has announced its plans to stage the global debut of the 2014 Vanquish Volante at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

Also referred to as a stunning new luxury sports car by the company, the Volante comes fitted with a carbon fiber body and a lightweight fabric roof that retracts in just 14 seconds. The model comes fitted with a 6.0-liter engine V12 engine that can generate 573 HP (421 kW) and 620 Nm (457 lb-ft) of torque. This enables the convertible to accelerate from 0-100 kmph (0-62 mph) in just 4.1 seconds and comes with a top speed of 294 kmph (183 mph).

The 2014 Vanquish Volante will be showcased alongside the V12 Vantage S and CC100 Speedster concept. If we go by some of the previous reports, it suggests that the company will also introduce two new concepts at the event, but nothing is officially confirmed by the company as of yet.

Company’s Regional Director for The Americas, Julian Jenkins was quoted saying, “The Pebble Beach week is now well established as a global celebration of the automobile and we are delighted to be a featured marquee for 2013, celebrating our first 100 years, while also looking forward to the future.”
