Bentley Bentayga Quietly Testing in South Africa

It was already reported previously that the luxury British automaker, Bentley, would be building an SUV model and that the model would be called the Bentayga. Well, whereas details remain pretty scarce on the model, it turns out that a final prototype is already undergoing some tests in a rather remote section of the world, South Africa. The prototype has been recently caught on camera wandering around the Cape Town.

As reported by the AutoPlus, the luxury British SUV has actually been captured by one of its readers. According to the explanation given out by the reader in question, Bentley was not testing only one but three examples of its upcoming SUV model altogether. When spotted, all the prototypes of the British SUV were wrapped in heavy camouflage. Nonetheless, it could be seen that those prototypes sport dual exhaust pipes with chrome accent on their tips.

The British automotive marquee, Bentley, had actually teased the Bentayga SUV before. This happened at the same time the 2015 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) event took place, in January this year. The car is expected to make its official debut before 2015 comes to an end. Bentley refers to the model as a model that will redefine the SUV sector, thanks to its combination of outstanding on- and off-road performances with the British luxury of the modern days.

The Bentley Bentayga SUV will use the MLB Evo chassis and despite being an SUV, the car will somehow look quite like a coupe as well.
