Bicyclist dies after getting hit by car in Pennsylvania

An Emmaus man has died days after he was hit by a car while he was riding his bike in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.

Alexander Zarnas, 36, died on Thursday night at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest, the Lehigh County coroner’s office noted.

He died due to the injuries he suffered when he was hit by a vehicle while biking on Tuesday evening in the 6700 block of Mountain Road in Lower Macungie Township, according to officials said.

His death has been ruled an as accident.

The incident is being investigated by state police, the Lehigh County district attorney’s office and the coroner’s office.
