BMW 1M Coupe Gets Updated By APP Europe: Official Details and Pictures

APP has assembled a new package comprising of mechanical and styling mods for the new BMW 1 M Coupe for those looking to push themselves into new levels.

This new package offers pretty serious tech mods for the car, but let’s take them in order.

First of all, the 3.o-liter turbocharged engine has received a larger intercooler an a serious bump in power. MR. Car Design from Erfstadt is responsible for the power increase from 340hp (production cars) to 410hp. The new car gets silicon tires as well as appropriate software make it possible. A crucial role in the power increase is played by the lightweight titanium exhaust system with a new muffler inlet pipe, Metallkats with larger diameter. 50% weight saving compared to mass production is a good example of effectiveness of this system.

The steam hammer is equipped with 6 piston cramps of disk wheel braking system now relies on 6-piston calipers for the front axle and 4-piston calipers for the rear axle, using Movit ceramic components. The connection to the road is established via a set of ATS lightweight alloy rims that use Pirelli P Zero tires.

Finally, the icing on the cake, a new car Variante 3 + suspension system with the direct digital control from iPhone/iPod touch App – muffler creates a link between daily comfort and absolute suitability for fast driving. An interesting processing of the tires with foil which repeats the interior color (orange, black and gray) is made by ZFZ Weilheim.
