A new promotional brochure of the upcoming 2014 Mercedes S-Class has surfaced online just when the official unveiling of the same is about to happen in less than a week.
While the brochure stated almost same facts which we are already aware of and doesn’t reveal anything beyond that, it does confirm that the model will be coming with at least three different engines.
The S350 BlueTEC will come fitted with a 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine that will be able to produce 258 HP (190 kW) and 620 Nm (457 lb-ft) of torque. It will allow the car to accelerate from 0-100 kmph (0-62 mph) in just 6.8 seconds and will have a top speed of 250 kmph (155 mph).
The S500 model will come equipped with a 4.7-liter V8 petrol engine that will able to generate 455 HP (335 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. This will enable the model accelerate from 0-100 kmph (0-62 mph) in just 4.8 seconds, and will have a top speed of 250 kmph (155 mph).
Last but not the least, the S400 Hybrid will have a hybridized 3.5-liter V6 engine which will produce 306 HP (225 kW) and 370 Nm (273 lb-ft) of torque. This will enable the luxury sedan to accelerate from 0-100 kmph (0-62 mph) in 6.8 seconds before touching a top speed of 250 kmph (155 mph).
