Car crash leaves two dead in Harvey County, Kansas

Two people died following a car crash that took place around 2:10 p.m. in Harvey County, Kansas.

A 2008 Lincoln MKZ was headed southbound on I-135 near mile marker 28 before it crossed over the median and went sideways into a freight line commercial vehicle that was going northbound. The freight line commercial vehicle then hit the passenger side of the Lincoln.

The two occupants of the Lincoln were pronounced dead on the scene.

Their identities haven’t been revealed yet, but Kansas Highway Patrol will release them after getting in touch with their family.
