American Airlines and Delta Air Lines suspend all flights to and from China as the virus called coronavirus spreads.

Delta stated it will suspend flights between the United States and China beginning on Sunday until at least April 30, according to a press release.

American Airlines has canceled all flights to mainland China. It confirmed Saturday that it had also scrubbed travels to Hong Kong through Monday. It “will make decisions about Hong Kong flights each day based on our operational situation,” stated the company.

US President Donald Trump said on Friday that as of Sunday at 5 p.m. ET, foreign nationals who have been to China in the last 14 days are blocked from entering the United States. US citizens and permanent residents are still permitted to enter. Those who have been to Hubei province, where Wuhan is located, the virus’ epicenter, in the last 14 days must go through mandatory quarantine.

Coronavirus has so far infected thousands and killed over 300 people in China.
