French automaker Renault will extend closure at its factory in China’s Wuhan until February 13, in line with the Chinese government’s guidance over the coronavirus for employees in the city and extended Lunar New year holidays, a representative stated on Monday.

Renault’s factory, where it has hired around 2,000 people, had to resume on February 10.

Renault operates the factory with Chinese automaker Dongfeng Group.

Other automakers in the area, including French rival PSA Group, have taken similar measures.

Coronavirus has so far infected thousands and killed over 300 people in China.
