Nissan is thinking about restarting production in China after February 10

Nissan Motor stated on Tuesday that it is thinking about restarting production in China in its venture with Dongfeng Motor sometime after February 10, mentioning government guidance and its assessment of the coronavirus epidemic.

The Japanese automaker also stated production in Hubei province, the epicenter of the epidemic, will resume sometime after February 14.

The production plan is subject to modification after reviewing the coronavirus situation in the days ahead, a company representative said.

The virus outbreak has infected thousands and killed more than 420 people and has spread around the world.
