The 2010 Goodwood Festival of Speed is going to witness three UK premiers and the complete range of Citroen participating in the race. The DS3 with its 200 hp engine, the Survolt electric power driven and the Revolte are the two concept cars which in total make the three from UK premieres.
The Citroes DS3 on the other hand has a 1.6 liter THP engine which delivers 200 hp. Its components are all carbon trimmed and features specialist motorsports equipment. Only 1000 units of this car would be manufactured by Citreon Racing the WRC team, and all in this year of 2010 alone.
The next car in the race would be the Survolt, which is a concept car form UK. The car has a combination of cutting edge technology and luxury in its design both interior and exterior. It is more like a future thinking car with its design taking care of ecological aspects and yet being a car of high performance.
There is also the Revolte that be seen at the Goodwood FoS-TECH pavilion. It would be taking part in the special low emission hill climb event..
The legendary Citroen C4 WRC would be seen at the stand. The car has been driven by Sebastien Loeb who has the achievement of being World Rally Champion for six times. It was in 2007 that the car debuted at the Monte-Carlo Rally. It was the first and second spots that both the c4 WRCs achieved that took part in the race. Citroen can attach its 2008 and 2009 WRC Manufacturer’s titles to this model. There are high expectations for its victory in the 2010 rally as well.
