by SpeedLux

Well known car maker MG has been in top form in the ongoing 2013 Shanghai Auto Show where he has launched some great concepts and cars. One of them is the 2013 Euro-spec MG3 which is expected to go on sale in Europe later this year.

The car is available only in five-door and is powered exclusively by a 4-cylinder normally aspirated engine which can generate 105 HP (77 kW). The engine is connected to a five-speed manual transmission gearbox.

In terms of external dimensions, the 2013 MG3 has a length of 4015 mm, width of 1728 mm, height of 1520 mm and has a 2520 mm wheelbase.

The car will be offered in three trim levels: TS1, TS2 and TS3, along with a more premium interior cabin compared to its Chinese sibling. Infact sales and marketing chief of MG UK, Guy Jones, stated that the car would compete with cars such as MINI, Citroen DS3 and Vauxhall Adam and so it will be available with a wide variety of interior and exterior customization options.

The car would come with a basic price tag of 10,000 GBP (approx. 15,200 USD / 11,600 EUR). There is very limited information available of the car as of now. However, more details such as full specs and pricing details is expected to be released over the course of Q2 and Q3 of this year.
