Simply hours prior to the very first primetime speakers take the stage at the Republican National Convention Monday, a car having a few of Donald Trump staffers was involved in a car accident en route to the airport in New York City, as per a report.
The presumptive GOP nominee was not hurt and was on the way to Cleveland with his wife Melania, who was slated to speak at the convention at evening, his project validated.
CNN initially reported that Trump’s motorcade was involved in the accident, but campaign spokesperson Hope Hicks later on confirmed that the personnel vehicle was not traveling with the motorcade.
