It seems that the people in charge at Lamborghini are favoring the Estoque four-door sedan rather than an SUV. Stephen Winkelmann, CEO of Lamborghini stated last month that they are thinking of adding a new model to the lineup. Just recently he said that he would prefer if that car were a four-door rather than an SUV. It was speculated that the car maker was thinking of making a successor to the LM002.
Winkelmann said that the Estoque is a sign that Lamborghini could venture in more areas, not only that of super-cars. He said that the response to the Estoque was “more enthusiastic” than had been expected.
Winkelmann said that the SUV project is not going anywhere since the company doesn’t have a price segment for it and he also said that the SUV is not a rel luxury car. Also the CEO thinks that buyers will be attracted to the Estoque because of its practicability. The new car is expected to be a “first car” and attract more people to the brand.
