Along with the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4, the Ferrari 458 Italia is known for it’s incredible futuristic shape, which not only looks extremely good, but plays an important role in aerodynamics, thus the performance of the car. That’s why we love it, that’s why everyone loves it, but appearently, there is someone that thought we could love it even more. Or hate it, let’s see which one.
Olivier Demangel is a French designer and 3D artist who lives in London and who has come up with not one, not two, but three different proposals for a redesigned 458 Italia, and even though the main sculpted lines of the car remain the same, in each different proposal the particular elements can easily be remarked .
The artist says about the version 0.5 (the silver car) that is a slightly tuned version with subtle add-ons such as side skirts and a lower diffuser, the version 1.0 takes the aftermarket approach one step further adding more side air vents, while version 2.0 is, according to Demangel, a tribute to the legendary F40.
Unfortunately we weren’t able to provide a video for each version, but there are enough photosin order for you to create an idea about the designs, and two videos. Enjoy!
