by Sebastian Bivin

About a week ago we were here to tell you about a new custom Mustang being built by Galpin Auto Sports that would be auctioned off for charity at the Barrett-Jackson auction in January.

After this news, tho folks from MustangsDaily managed to take the first live photos of the car and you can see it here.

The car is amazingly accurate to the original sketch, keeping the same styling inspired by the 1969 Mustang Boss 429, this car’s exterior features a hand-built steel widebody kit painted in Candy Apple Red Pearl PPG paint.

Beside this, the car will come with a 5.0L V8, which has been fitted with a Ford Racing supercharger and numerous other upgrades to produce 700 horsepower.

In addition comes the Wilwood brakes front and rear, Forgiato three-piece wheels, an original 1969 Boss 429 hood scoop and an electronically-controlled exhaust cutout system.

If you’re curious, you can see this car at Barrett-Jackson’s Las Vegas auction from September 22-24 as well as at the SEMA Show from November 1-4. However, if can can’t make it to the auction, you can still check out our photos gallery below for some life photos. Enjoy it.
