Four dead after head-on car crash on Perimeter Highway in Winnipeg

Four people died on Saturday morning after a head-on car crash on the south Perimeter Highway in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

RCMP was notified around 2:30 a.m. about a two-vehicle crash just one kilometer west of St. Anne’s Road.

A westbound car was traveling in the eastbound lane when it crashed with a minivan head-on.

The 26-year-old female driver of the car from Winnipeg car was pronounced dead at the scene.

The three people in the other vehicle, which included a 26-year-old male driver and 26-year-old female passenger, both from Steinbach, and a 63-year-old woman from Germany, were also killed in the crash.

Headingley Traffic Services, together with a forensic crash reconstructionist were investigating the crash and have asked others to contact them at 204-984-6913 with details related to the crash.
