Volkswagen Amarok Power Pickup concept gets detailed

by SpeedLux

Following its official launch at the recently concluded Wörthersee 2013, Volkswagen has released new details about the Amarok Power Pickup concept recently.

The Volkswagen Amarok Power Pickup concept looks quite bold and aggressive and is distinguished by an aggressive front bumper, a revised grille and bi-xenon headlights. The truck also comes with other features such as a wide body kit, a unique rear bed, a dual exhaust system, a carbon fiber diffuser, an 80 mm reduced ride height and 22-inch alloy wheels.

In terms of interiors, the unique styling carries over to the cabin as it has been equipped with Nubuck leather sports seats, a premium audio system and an infotainment system with an 8-inch display.

The truck comes fitted with a 3.0-liter V6 TDI engine that can generate an output of 272 HP (200 kW) and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque. The engine is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission gearbox and a 4MOTION all-wheel drive system. This enables the truck to accelerate from 0-100 kmph (0-62 mph) in just under 8 seconds.
